About PVX.AI

What We Do

PVX.AI is an AutoCAD-native design platform for utility-scale solar power plants. We help solar engineers solve the civil engineering challenges that traditional PV design tools overlook — terrain grading, earthwork optimization, cable routing, and construction-ready outputs.

The Problem We Solve

As the solar industry moves beyond flat, easy-to-build sites, civil engineering costs have become one of the largest variables in project economics. Earthwork costs on a single project can swing by hundreds of thousands of dollars depending on how the grading is designed. Most solar design tools treat terrain as an afterthought. PVX.AI puts it at the center.

What Makes Us Different

  • Civil-grade terrain analysis: Slope analysis, soil hardness mapping, and cut/fill optimization built into the design workflow

  • AutoCAD-native: Works inside the CAD environment engineers already use — no file conversion, no separate tools

  • Construction-ready outputs: Pile coordinates, cable routes with voltage drop calculations, and grading plans that are ready for the field

  • Real trade-off visibility: Compare multiple grading approaches, cabling topologies, and row spacing scenarios with actual cost and energy data

Track Record

PVX.AI has been used to design over 3.8 GWp of solar capacity. Our engineering case studies demonstrate measurable results, including $727,000 in earthwork savings on a single project by optimizing the grading approach, and $430,000 in cabling savings by comparing three different string routing methods.

Our Team

PVX.AI is built by a team of solar engineers and software developers who have worked on utility-scale projects across multiple continents. We understand the gap between design software and what actually gets built in the field — because we have been on both sides.
